November is always a very quiet time of the year in Las Vegas and as such if you are currently thinking of having a last minute break then it may be beneficial for you to check out the room and suite rates currently on offer, as there are plenty of bargains to be had!

However, there is of course the Thanks Giving holiday break coming up and that is when Vegas suddenly goes from being very quiet to being packed out for a couple of days.

Early December is also very quiet in Vegas, for many people are saving up for Christmas and New Year, so those are also going to be some of the quieter times of the year too!

You may be wondering if the recent shooting incident in Vegas has seen a sharp downturn in visitor numbers to Vegas, well admittedly the Mandalay Bay did experience a slight downturn in regards to the number of visitors in the weeks after that incident, however their casino resort is reporting occupancy rates of 80%, so it hasn’t affected the popularity of that casino resort.

One thing that you must get for yourself if you are planning a trip to Vegas is a player’s card at the casino or casinos you plan to stay at and visit, and always use that card when you are gambling.

For you will then start to accumulate comp points as you play and the more point you earn based on your gabling volume will then see you being showered with lots of additional extras.

Also you do need to be aware that at this time of the year the temperature in Vegas can get very cold, even though it is of course in the middle of the desert, November and December especially can be very cold months of the year, so make sure you pack plenty of warm clothing!

Another thing you will appreciate if you are in Europe, is that Norwegian Airlines have now started back up their winter schedule of flights into and out of Las Vegas, and as such you will be able to fly into and back out of Vegas to places such as Oslo, Stockholm and even London Gatwick airport.

Norwegian airlines are a budget long haul and short haul airline, and by carefully selecting the months of the year when you fly with them and by booking your flight well in advance you can make some huge savings, when compared to all other airlines!
