You are bound to have plenty of spare time over Christmas to play some casino styled games you may never have seen or played before, so today I would like to introduce you to one of the most unusual of Blackjack games I recently game across.

That game is called Spanish Blackjack, and whilst its name does indicate its origins, it is readily available to players who play online, so you will not have any problems being able to access it either for free or play it for real money also!

What is unique about Spanish Blackjack is the way the game has been designed for when playing it you will never be dealt out any 10 cards, as they have been removed from each deck in the shoe, and for reference there are usually 8 decks in total in the some of this game.

Also, it is a game that allows players to perform a Late Surrender and when doing so they will get half of their stake money paid back out to them and their hand will then be removed from play.

Some other unique rules associated with Spanish Blackjack is that  the Dealer must always hit any hand if it has a value of a soft 17 or is any lower valued hand, and players can split Aces then either draw or double down on each split Ace too.

There are however some additional payouts in addition to the standard ones you will receive when playing Spanish Blackjack, the best paying bonus payout is when the Dealer is dealt out as his first face up card a 7 and a player is then dealt out three 7’s in the same suit, for that hand returns a payouts at odds of 50 to 1!

There are also some other payouts Blackjack players can receive and they include a bonus payout when they are dealt out a 21 valued hand using 5, 6 or 7 or more cards, and those payouts are 3 to 2, 2 to 1 and 3 to 1 respectively.

If a player is also dealt out a 6, 7 and an 8 card as their first three cards to any hand and those cards are in a mixed suit then a bonus payout worth 3 to 2 is paid out to them, that payout becomes 2 to 1 if they are in the same suit, but if they are in the suit of spades that bonus payout is a much larger 3 to 1!

One thing worth knowing if you do fancy playing Spanish Blackjack over Christmas or for that matter at any time of the year is that each of the above listed bonus payouts are awarded to players without them having to place any type of side bet!
