The funeral fund for 4 children who were tragically murdered in a callous arson attack on their home, which has also left their mum in a medically induced coma has smashed its initial target by over £2000 in just over 4 days.

Demi Pearson, 15, Brandon, 8, Lacie, 7, and three year old Lia all perished in the blaze at their house in Salford in the early hours of Monday.

Currently 4 young adults are being held on suspicion of murder, and further enquiries are undergoing after the family were ‘failed’ after it is claimed they asked to be moved to a safe house after one of those arrested was heard shouting he ‘would kill them all’.

It is believed that petrol was poured down the family’s chimney.

The family said they had been terrorized for months prior and just wanted to get out so they could enjoy a nice, family Christmas, one that unfortunately will never happen.

Fortunately, this seems to be fairly uncommon, however, this kind of behaviour from teenagers as young as 14 is becoming more and more common place. This is the sad and tragic after effect of when parents, guardians and adults in general are forced to allow children to become feral for fear of being reprimanded for disciplining them.

Recent studies into EBD disorders also found that a lot are pre disposed due to the mothers drinking, smoking and doing class C drugs during pregnancy such as cannabis.

The rate of Alcohol Foetal Syndrome has recently exploded up and down the country, with many mothers causing it accidentally because they didn’t know they were pregnant until they were very far gone.

Unfortunately, this isn’t good enough still. Discipline has been in decline since the 40’s. The 60’s were the pot smoking hippies, the 80’s were the drug addled punks and boozey mods, and the 90’s and 2000’s were the pill popping clubbers, and with each generation discipline gets more and more lax. Even in the 80’s and early 90’s, a parent could discipline their child without fear of being reported to the police or Childline for taking the child’s TV off them.

Even the military, be that the TA, or the actual armed forces struggle to instil discipline in some because they’ve never known it, and routine is all but alien to them.

In fact, not only is it alien, they seem to believe that it is their god given right to cause mayhem where they can. We aren’t talking misdemeanours like knock a door and run, or trespassing onto a farmer’s field to watch their horses. We’re talking ruthless muggings of the elderly, GTA, hit and runs, gangs, drug dealing, arson, theft, some are going as far as hiring their ‘services’ out as heavies and hit men.

Something needs to change, because whichever way we look at it, those 4 precious children can’t be brought back, their mother, if she pulls through will never fully recover, and the situation will only get worse.
